A challenge is a challenge
So a bet was laid before him, he'd have to catch her when she had no clothes. He can't help but take her seriously. Rigging the locks to the bathroom was no big deal. She's also had some long days, and he's plenty quiet, so he's pretty sure making off with every item of clothing, the towels - pretty much every scrap of cloth but the washcloth she was using for her shower went unnoticed.
Ok, so sure, he could have peeked, but that isn't half as fun as listening to her reaction.
Everything is laid out neatly on her bed, her blades haven't been disturbed, and so on, and sure, she's a teleporter, but he's pretty sure she's not going to go anywhere that way if its not an emergency and she's unarmed.

He settles in a bit down the hall, sipping at a cup of coffee.

	He doesn't answer right away, instead shuffling through his pockets and setting a packet of smokes on the nearest table, then shuffles into the kitchen, returning with a 6-pack of half decent beer. 	He shrugs. Cheap American beer is what's in his budget. By the time she gets back he's settled in front of the TV, watching her screen debut, with popcorn and beer. Perhaps for the best its a short film. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He takes a long shot directly from the bottle, then offers it back to her. "Alright, just a sec, gonna order us some dinner while the previews run." 	He takes another shot, offering the bottle back. "I bounced around through the foster care system til I was too old. Got my GED and went to work doing odd jobs, mostly mechanical or wrecking yard stuff til I could afford my own bike. Then I just kinda hit the road and worked for gas money. How about you?" 	He trades the bottle back and forth with her, matching her shot for shot. "I'd guess, from Russia's rep, they were watching for your powers to manifest. I never knew my sperm and egg donors, and sounded like it was for the best. Only thing I know much of is I was born in a place called New Salem. Hence the name. He seems to have done his share of drinking too, and keeps going shot for shot with her, though unhurriedly. "Nothing to be sorry about, it happens. Told you I was just a bad luck magnet. I had books, soon as I could afford it I had my bike. A couple foster stops along the way had bikes, learned to fix 'em and ride, and kinda became my goal in life. In a lot of ways, I think I prefer the thought of falling through the cracks in the system more than having had big brother watching." he replies, handing the bottle back.
