She'd already picked out the dress to the charity ball. Now came the most important thing-getting a date. Yeah, her parents said that she didn't need one, but her first big social event? No one wants to be caught dead with their parents. You might as well be a hermit.
Luckily for Val, she already knew exactly who she wanted to go with.
Picking her cellphone up off her desk, she dialed the number of said possible date. Drumming her fingers on the desk as she listened to it ringing on the other line.
Hopefully, the closet incident was all just a humorous memory....
