Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
Each year toward the end of December people come together with friends and family to celebrate and exchange gifts. The atmosphere is light, merry and there is plenty of cheer to go around. Holiday music fills the air while bright colorful lights light up the nights. Mistletoe is placed in strategic locations and people are willing caught under it.

It's a time of celebration, even for superheroes.

Martin was not a party person, crowds weren't his thing. But he'd been doing better with them and this wasn't too too big a crowd, and he knew enough people. So he'd decided to show up to meet all the interesting heroes.

He sat atop his usual floating blue disc, usual attire except a festive red bowtie added, hovering in the air as he 'fixed' the decorations, adding that magical touch that was so needed he felt. He wondered if he could get a small snow effect just on top of the Christmas tree.

	"I'm fixing it," he said matter-of-factly without looking over, just being more cautious with his handwaving. "You don't have anyone to do the magic stuff, so I'm doing it for you." There was now a red swirling light effect about the tree, that then switched to green, and back. "I'm trying to get it to snow on the tree." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"It did. I also added some magic effects to other decorations. You're welcome, so don't worry. And anyway, it's not real snow, it's magic snow, so no melting and making puddles. I'll get rid of it afterwards so he won't need to clean." As he spoke he fished around his hat for a smaller spellbook and began telekinetically flipping through to look for the snow spell. Martin's cheerful good mood face almost instantly fell and he looked like he'd just had a present taken out of his hands. "...I don't want it easier. I want it magic, and I want to do it," he said sadly and quietly. Plus mind tricks, he wasn't a fan. Illusions were okay, but that was different.

"No no, it's not right," he insisted to Jack when he arrived. He looked to Kal with the forlorn almost puppy eyes. "Take the snow down please? I wanted to do it, that's the fun."

"But they don't have a magic person to make their decorations look awesome like we do. I'm helping! Christmas spirit is about helping right? Martin made a face at Kal, about to insist that the Avengers had had magic people before so spells were certainly not new to them. Besides, not like he was casting a spell on anyone. And wasn't that better than putting a mental effect on people? Certainly less invasive, at least he thought so.

But Jack jumps in just in time. "Hmm well I finished the lights work, I don't know where to find your Jarvis to ask him about snow." He turned to Manny. "Will it be okay if I ask Jarvis first? Will you come help me find him? I don't know what he looks like."
