The Camping Trip
Argo had called up, somewhat thrilled about going on another trip. Then again, anything seemed to excite Argo or make him wish to adventure these days! Dolemeck was a bit hesitant to go, as EVERY adventure he went on with Argo led to some misadventure or chaos breaking out. But this one sounded... normal. They would rent some horses and go to Montana for a camping trip. No monsters, no crazy ex-girlfriends, no strippers... just camping with the guys. It sounded so normal, Dolemeck had to pinch himself to see if he was having a dream.

Being as this was so normal, Dolemeck did not tell Tyler. Besides, he was a grown man and did not need to tell him everything anymore, right? He left a note on the fridge that he would be gone for a few days, and that he left Tyler a few cooked meals as an act of kindness (and because eating out was expensive). Dolemeck even managed to get time off of work as a barista and model to be able to go on this little adventure, so there was not a single loose end.

Upon his arrival in Montana, Dolemeck waited for Argo's plane to arrive. After-all, he knew where they were going!

	Argo, of course, had just gotten Irina to teleport him there, but the airport was an easy place to meet Dolemeck for the adventures awaiting them. "Well met, Dolemeck!" Argo boomed when he saw his friend. (Reply to this)(Thread)

Montana honestly didn't sound interesting in the least. He'd only agreed because he had nothing really to do, and was a bit bored and lonely. Not that he'd admit that, but no brothers around was a change he was still getting used to. Besides, this way he could be entertained by Argo's boisterous messups and Venus's pet's mess of nerves. It was something to do.

Phil walked over to the two, Avengers membership turned out to be good for travelling, and gave them a single wave. "So who's idea was a cabin as vacation again?"

"I shall send her the message." He smiled at Argo, before giving him a pat on the shoulder. "I am doing most well. Tyler and I have a new place, I have a modeling contract, and life is looking up!"

Dolemeck's eyes soon caught sight of Phil, giving him a wave as he walked over to the group.

"Greetings, Phil. This trip was Argo's idea, oddly enough. This is the most "normal" adventure he's thought of, yet. Unless this cabin is filled with scantily clad women and he did not tell us." He gave off a small laugh. He came off as less... nervous. Even a bit more confident.

	Phil had been about to eye Argo with a smirk and ask if there were indeed scantily clad women in the cabin, but alas it seemed like there weren't. Phil had of course neglected to mention that he did not have his license. Of course he didn't, how would he have gotten it? He'd spent most of his life in an orphanage, and before being with the avengers he'd shared an apartment with his brothers and not much money between them.

Not to say he'd never driven before, he certainly knew the basics of driving better than Argo or Dolomeck, that much couldn't be argued. The brothers had swiped a car for an afternoon a few times, took turns trying to drive, then left it. So he'd done it before...just like...3 times in total only. And seen movies.

Which soon became evident as his gear shifting wasn't smooth, his stops sudden, his turns sharp, turning signals missing, and his observance of the speed limits was...non-existent. But hey, he drove with some weird confidence, and a grin on his face that said at least the speed thing was to give everyone involved a thrilling ride.

Miracle or godly luck on some part, they made it there, unstopped by police, and unhurt. "Well...that was fun!" Phil laughed with a huge grin. "Told you we'd get here without issue."

Dolemeck quickly opened the car door and flopped out towards the side of the road. Phil's driving left the poor half human, half demon man quite sick to his stomach. It was amazing he had not lost his lunch sooner! He was just reduced to being on his hands and knees, dry heaving for the moment. If Phil was going to drive them back to the airport, he might not survive!

The driving got the OUTRAGEOUS approval, so clearly it was fine.

Phil thumped Dolomeck's back once and grinned. "Buck up, Argo liked it." Then, with a spring in his step, he left Dolomeck to follow Argo towards the cabin and check out the place.

"Niiiice Argo. Was worried there'd be sleeping bags and such nonsense on this trip. Good going," he grinned and absent-mindedly gave the god a light punch in the arm in approval.

Once Dolemeck managed to get control of himself and his stomach, he got up and started to head over to the pair. He was hoping for sleeping bags, honestly. But this was nice, too. His hand shook badly as he reached into his pocket for his medicine bottle and popped a pill in his mouth, then moved to his other coat pocket to take out a small water bottle and start drinking from it.

"Aye, this is impressive..." He admitted, looking at Argo and Phil, then back at the cabin. "So... now what?"

"No, no scary stories!" Dolemeck look terrified at Phil. He was in fear of the man and what sort of tales he could produce! Instead, Dolemeck rushed into the house and headed for the now stocked kitchen.

He hung his coat up on the back of a chair, grabbed an apron that hung over the stove, and began to gather ingredients from the rather full fridge to make food for his friends.

Cabin in the woods

After the group had dined by the fire, it was time for bed. Dolemeck took the smallest spare room in the cabin, while Phil and Argo took the two larger rooms. He had not had a good chicken like that in a long time, it made him happy. In fact, he felt rather relaxed and content... things he's never really felt when traveling with Argo.

Soon, sleep took hold of Dolemeck. Either due to the earlier stresses or the fact he nearly ate a whole chicken by himself, the cursed man got out of bed and began to sleep walk. His feet dragged a little on the ground as he left his room, and then the cabin all together!

	Phil didn't 'sleep', he just entered a similar state that was more trance-like as he explored the dream world. It was his favourite part of the 'day' and the one he so looked forward to. He hated this part interrupted. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	By the time it is morning... Dolemeck had still not returned. The front door was wide open, and there were bare footprints in some fresh snow leading away from the Cabin. This was not a good sign! Phil didn't notice any of those things at first, he got a cup of coffee took his time finishing it as he sat, and noted the other two were taking their time. Might as well check in. He'd closed the front door, saw the footsteps, but had figured whoever that was would come back. When they didn't...well, yeah might as well check in.

Dol's empty room with the PJ top on the floor got a shrug out of him and he went to Argo's room. A slight smirk formed and he held out one hand whie he sipped his coffee. Construct claws extended out and one scrapped down the god's jaw, then neck slowly before closing around his neck. He wondered what that'd make Ms. Walters do in the dream.

An amused eyebrow raise at that. Ms.Walters apparently did strangulation? Interesting.

But whatever. He needed Argo awake, so he sighed and resigned himself to doing this. Oh how he hated this method of waking people up, it went against all the things he enjoyed, but fine...it was needed. He let go of Argo's neck and instead placed a finger on the gods forehead, eyes glowing gold as he did so. All at once the dream would suddenly cut out and disappear. Sucked to do it this way but it tended to jolt people out of sleep. He would've done wake-by-nightmare but he needed Argo as his usual self and not shaken up for this.

After Dolemeck took a warm bath, had a nice bowl of soup, and was dressed in proper clothing (an ugly sweater Phil picked out, some jeans, and a pair of hiking boots), the trio retired to the fireplace inside of the cabin. It was time for that time honor tradition that Phil spoke of. stories by the fireplace... (or in Phil's case, horror stories).

Dolemeck was oblivious to Phil's plan, as was Argo. So this was going to be fun...
