Joe looked at the football on the floor.  Then he looked at the broken lamp.  Then he looked at the football.  Then the lamp again.  Then the lamp some more. 

Then the nearest doorways.

Then the lamp again.

Then Misha.

"...this is all your fault," he said.

"Buzz Lightyear!" Misha shoved as hard as he could. Except he forgot to let go and pushed Joe into the wall. A small porcelain object fell off a nearby shelf. It shattered into pieces at their feet.
