A Not So Quiet Day In the Big Easy
It was a quiet autumn day in the city of New Orleans. Tourists wandered the streets and moved about their business. The local superhero team, The Champions, were enjoying the quiet and going about their daily routines.

Of course that was about to change.

It had taken many small jumps to get here, but the Winter Guard, some small subset, did suddenly arrive on the Champions' doorstep.

"It looks like they all need medical attention," Jenny said, closing the door behind the small group. She ran for the first aid kit, which was more like a tackle box for hunting Moby Dick, and brought it back.

On her way, she purposely bumped Argo's chair with her hip. With her power, she was better than an alarm clock. If this was some sort of ruse, they would need him not only awake, but current with the situation.

"Vodka later. Healing first." Vincent replies with professional terseness. He calls the appropriate patron to mind and administers a restorative spell. She appears to be in good enough health aside from her current injuries, so a simple refocusing of her own life-force does the trick without exhausting his own magical reserves. "This should alleviate the damage, but you'll be a bit groggy."

	Vincent gave an appraising glance as the lady's injuries were alleviated. "You. No heavy lifting. Please at least moderate your vodka intake." He instructs her in Russian, with more than a hint of Balkan accent. Chalk that up to learning that particular language especially young. He then turns to the male as Irina is working on him. 	Vincent furrows his brow. He only knows the Winter Guard by reputation and general access files. A flick of his wrist and mild exertion of will swaps the vodka in the bottle with water, storing it elsewhere for now.
