Tim nodded. "I had thought they already told you. I only found out because I was snooping where I shouldn't have been."
He rolled closer to her and took both of her hands. He looked her straight in the eye. "Promise me you won't go off half cocked after him." He had to assume that's the reason why she hadn't been told.
