Night Patrol (open)
It had been a few weeks since Dolemeck had ended up in Seattle. In that time, he lost someone, he found someone, he met new friends, got a new job, and he discovered a new purpose for himself. He agreed he would help Bram, Tyler, and their friends look for any supernatural beings. It was odd, but such a pact made him feel more at home than when he was in Manhattan by himself. This place, it made him feel welcome.

He had finally been to a barber shop for the first time and had his hair cut much shorter (as Bram spoke of how having long hair would be one more thing an enemy could grab, and his managers at work were not happy with him having waist length hair). It was short in the back, and long in the front, going past his chin a little bit. It was odd how changing one's hair and location could make a man feel brand new.

"I should have done this sooner." He whispered to himself as he shadow ported from one alley to the next. He was hellbent on finding the other two escaped demons from limbo who tried to drag him back there. But so far, he was unable to find them, or much of anything. Then again, most supernatural beings would not be stupid enough to make themselves so easy to find. But then again, what was he?

As he thought more on this, Dolemeck shadow ported once more. He could find nothing, so he decided to look for a bar to go to for some fun.

Joanna breezes in, hair in pigtails and wearing a Japanese schoolgirl outfit. Before anyone can ask, she just holds up a hand.

"New waitressing gig. Costume cafe. Don't ask."

She sits down, pulling out a bottled water and appraising the new face. "Don't think we've met."

His eyebrows were raised as he looked towards Joanna, after she addressed him. He took a long sip of his Guinness before speaking in that heavy, yet regal sounding accent of his.

"Greetings, Mi'lady. I am Dolemeck Night." He walked over and knelt by Joanna's side. he then took her hand and placed a kiss on the back of it, before walking back to his seat and holding his pint. Despite being nervous about those creatures, he still managed to act like the gentlemen he was.

"What's up?" She just got off of work.

Ah retail. She could still get away with her normally brightly dyed hair but the shirt and slacks were a little mundane compared to her normal clothing choices. But hey she had to pay for her research materials in different ways.

"Anything we need to be concerned about?"

Another day Tyler may have made a friendly joke about Joanna's attire, but he was definitely not in the mood.

"Ran into the Patriarch in a bar earlier. He claims there's a tryk in Seattle." Tyler passes out a few sheets of obscure information ( http://marvel.wikia.com/Tryks ) along with a note tacked on with the simple message of CUT OFF THE HEAD and BURN 'EM.

"Better to kill this threat now," Bram says putting his files on the table for the others to look at if they wanted.

"These creatures are the stuff of nightmares." Dolemeck spoke up from looking at one of the files that Bram had left out on the table, and the papers that Tyler was passing about. "So we decapitate them and burn the bodies? Sounds like what we were ordered to do with the French in my Era. Not that I enjoyed such tactics, but we must do what we have to."

Greg kept quiet and listened. When it was his turn he grabbed the files and read them. Unfortunately he hadn't been able to find out any additional information.

A brow rose when he saw Jo. It wasn't her outfit, but the fact she was waitressing somewhere else. He would have given her a job here if she would have asked.

Jo raises her eyebrows at the display of chivalry, glancing to the others in a 'Did that just really happen?' sort of way. That expression turns stern, to mildly concerned, at Tyler's announcement, and the talk about the French, respectively.

"Are we sure the intel is good? Man, I can't believe the freakshow this town seems to be turning into..."

"I can't say for sure, but I don't think we can afford not to take it seriously, considering how fast these things can spread."

"You're right. We seriously don't want them here. Better to nip the threat in the bud. Do we have any idea where the hive might be?"

Because personally she didn't like the idea of her human friends getting turned. Heck she could get turned since she is human.

"I would suggest a bait tactic to try and lure one out. But such a tactic is too risky! And with so many spots on this map, we'd be stretching ourselves a bit thin." He rubbed his chin for a moment before walking over to Rita and bowing down before her and giving the back of her hand a kiss, just as he did with Jo. "Sorry, Mi'lady. I did not mean to ignore you and not greet you properly. I am Dolemeck Night of Baths, it is a pleasure to meet you."

After he greeted Rita, he went back to his seat. "We could pair up into groups of two and search for these creatures, perhaps?"

"Yeah making these things stay dead is no different from any other vampire," Bram says, "But looking for the lair might also work."

Tyler doesn't comment on Dolemeck's sudden chivalry, managing not to raise an eyebrow at the hand-kissing, instead laying out a map with areas circled.

"These are the areas where the drained vampires were found. If we find a pattern, we can likely triangulate where the nest is."

"They're at least twice as strong as a regular vampire on average. Worse if they've recently fed. There are two ways. Either burn them or decapitate them. None of the other vampiric weaknesses apply,"Tyler explained.
