You'd have to go house hunting. There's James and Eliza to think about. Mom wouldn't be close to Prince Dork." Why yes, every reason not to move was being tossed out.
But.
"I don't deserve to use it. I fucked up and I have to pay the price." That damn streak of responsibility got in the way a lot of the time. "Even if it means I have to live in the dorms."
