The Serpent Strikes
Vadoma gave the members of the Serpent Society instructions on what they were to do. They were being paid quite handsomely to do a small job. The job was to destroy a factory in the Boston area.

It was a simple plan. Get in and do as much damage as possible. Then get out before being captured.

Kobra didn't answer what he felt was an inane comment. He went to dodge what he thought was a leap at him, but was surprised to see her ounce off the wall and launching herself at him. Adrienne connected with a kick that may have felled a human being, but Kobra was made of more durable stuff. The New Man hit the ground, but quickly rolled back to his feet. He removed one of the vials in his belt, removed its cork.

"Let's see what this does," he replied, throwing at Adrienne.

Tough indeed; Adrienne had not quite been expecting him to be able to take a blow like that and recover so quickly. Whatever this one was, he was clearly made of sterner stuff.

Adrienne bounced on the balls of her feet, ready to dodge out of the way, but the snake-man's throw was faster than she expected. The vial hit the ground in front of her, throwing up some kind of noxious gas. Temporarily blinded, she started coughing uncontrollably.

	Still coughing, Adrienne squeezed her eyes shut tight. She couldn't see, but she could hear. And she knew how to fight without her eyes if she had too. "Well enough for ze likes of you!" She aimed a kick where she heard his voice. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
