After that nasty business with the vampire kidnappings, Tyler figured it was time to loosen up an unwind a little. He had the day's paper in hand as he went to the bar. He headed upstairs to where Rita was staying and knocked on her room-door.

"Rita? It's Tyler. Are you busy?"

She settles back into the passenger seat giving him a slight smile. He always does.

"I... Have a weird time reading people's emotions. Like... I get signals mixed up and stuff. It's because I spent so much time studying or hunting. I tend to only be able to read... more violent emotional reactions better than anything else."

She just rambled that out. "Do... you get what I mean?"

	"Yeah that's pretty much it. Like.... I get when someone is happy, they smile. But like... if they don't say why? I just have to take the time to figure it out. Other emotions are harder.
