Time to test the work in progress
At Xavier's request, Logan called Natasha to let her know the professor was confident enough in the progress Misha had made to agree to test the young man in a controlled situation. For that, a member of Misha's family was necessary to provide the triggering event. Either Natasha or Anya would do, but Logan was certain Natasha would come herself.

I talked to Professor Xavier, and he's given me the go-ahead to offer it, since I can do some things he can't, but it would need to be supervised and ok'ed by the family. Especially in David's case." "My power, specifically, is dreampathy. I'm not a telepath like Xavier, I don't really touch on the higher brain functions, but when someone is sleeping, I can enter their dreams and interact with their subconscious mind. It would take a lot of time, and very careful treading, but I can deal with deep mental trauma, brainwashing, things like that, more effectively than a true telepath, and Xavier can keep in touch with me, and be able to access parts of their brains that usually are harder to read and interpret for a telepath. We've talked a lot about it, and the differences between what he does, and what I can do. I'm also a shaman... which includes some study of healing. If there is severe trauma and damage on a subconscious level, I might be able to help speed its healing once I can find the scars. At the very worst, I can make sure they're not having nightmares. Best case scenario, with their permission, and their families', I might be able to do a lot to supplement Xavier's work."

Lucas nods, explaining his conversations with Xavier and the nature of his abilities, as well as where he may be better suited to help in some areas, much as he did for Natasha.

"As I said, Misha is aware of me and my abilities. I haven't spoken with David. I hope I can help, but its up to both the two of you, and them. Is there anything else before I leave you two to talk? If not, I'll be in the back woods. Not too hard to find."
