Imperius Princeps! Um... I mean....
The call from Atlantis came in from Atlantis while Mac was working out at Avengers mansion. And so here he was, standing in front of the screen at a sort of parade-rest, hearing his sovereign cousin's information and instructions, and answering questions in turn,

"Understood, Majesty. I completely agree. This should be in and out, not take a lot of people. I can handle it. And honestly, Sir, I don't mean to sound chauvinistic, but Nim and Korra don't need to ... hear that kind of language, literally and not. I'll contact you when it's done, Majesty."

And with a traditional Atlantean salute, and the call closed, Mac just grabbed his helmet and got ready to head out.

"Oh. Yeah. Um. Factory up the coast that Namor'd been tracing some pollution problems to turns out to be crawling with some kind of petty fascist thugs. Maybe some cut-rate HYDRA offshoot; the scouts weren't sure, but it got Namor in a bit of an old-school mood. He doesn't want to set off an international incident, though. But he at least wants them shut down for a while."

"Hydra is kind of a family specialty, if you'd like a hand?"

"Heh. That it is. I'd appreciate it, Buck. We can plan it out on the way, once I get wet?"

Buck nods, starting towards the lockers to get his gear. "Sounds good. You can give me everything you know about these guys, we'll try and pull up the maps of the place, and work it out from there. I'll meet you in the hangar?"

"Works. See you there." And Mac will go for a quick, salty soak, make sure the inside of the suit retains some, and meet back punctually.

"It's by the shore in Maine," Mac says, bringing up the coordinates efficiently as he speaks, once they've gotten on board. He's a little less shrugging and waiting-to-listen than usual. Mac was specifically asked to do this for Namor; it's different than a regular Avengers job, where he goes in knowing his job is to hit something. Obviously, his job is still to hit something, but there's only two of them, and he's gotta provide the intel. "No reports of much in the way of mutants or altered people. Plenty of basic gimmick-tech. Small mechanized weaponry, individualized hovercrafts, that sort of stuff."

Buck is in full gear by the time Mac is done, listening to the report as its offered. "I'll use Avengers cred to get the building plans so we'll have blueprints and know the layout as well as they do on the way. What are our primary priorities? We're unlikely to be able to capture and contain everyone. Primary, secondary, and maybe tertiary objectives to make sure Namor is happy with the results?"

"Good idea. And yeah, catching them all just isn't. More doable is just making it a bad plan to have overrun a coastal factory affecting waters Atlantis is trying to keep an eye on -- Namor's even been playing nice to get in on some of the U.S. and Canada's negotiations about the place, so he'd be pretty content to get this location shut down. Even if they'll just grab their hoverboards and Aryan chic and scamper somewhere else, at least the operation's interrupted and the place made inconvenient. More intformation'd be best, too, of course, but to be perfectly honest, I was just going to find the main machines and smash them a lot."

Buck nods, closing his eyes and taking all this in.

"Ok, so let's go with our primary mission being shutting the place down and making as much non-operable as possible. Whatever else happens, that has to occur.
Secondary mission is saving discs, salvageable, carryable high tech, and so on. Then we can analyze what they're working on. Helpful, but not critical.
Tertiary goal if we can accomplish it is identifying and capturing important personnel. With Hydra, that can be tricky - some of them suicide. But we might be able to manage a science lead or someone in the director's office."

An Auxillary Corpsman nod. "That's the plan, then." Always good to have a better plan; Mac was quite self-aware enough to see the room for improvement in his more simplistic approaches.

Buck, for his part, likes plans. Its nice to at least have objectives, even if its just to watch them explode on first contact with the enemy.

And when they get the blueprints, Mac studies them attentively, pointing out some of the obvious safety issuse, though admittedly his instincts for such things are more geared for an arrest than the sabotage he wants, and he keeps correcting himself sheepishly.

Buck notes the ideas, and instead of calling any problems, runs with the ideas and throws in his own suggestions.

"So, big question, do we want to divide and conquer for greater overall damage and objective seeking, or stick together for better defense?"

"It's a tough call; distraction, smashing and grabbing are usually my specialities, and you'd get further in without detection solo, but..." But what if something went wrong, and neither of them had anyone at their backs. The indecision flickers in his eyes for a moment before there's a firmer sort of frown and a little shake of his head. "Defense. I'll follow as quietly as I can, then go Imperius Princeps when we need it." Beat. "Um, if that works."

Buck nods. This is why he asked. Both approaches had up sides and down sides, and he wanted to know what Mac's comfort level was.

"In that case, we go in here..." he points to the map, showing a section of the roof. "We'll try and land rooftop side and remove the vent, see if we can get in without too much attention - I can drop smoke bombs after that, and we can hit either equipment or the main office if we think we can subdue someone who looks higher up."

Mac pays careful attention and nods. "Definitely works."

And as they get there, all appears as stated. And he will do his best to be careful. And he's not terrible at it.

Buck drops to the rooftop, setting in in digging through his tools to remove the bolts and pry up the vents to give them a way in.
