The Hero-ver Part 1 - Amsterdam Morning
"Oh... oh goodness that must have been a bad idea.." Vincent Vernard wakes up on the floor of probably the best suite of an upscale hotel... somewhere. He can see the sky outside-- oh looking towards the light is a mistake. He winces and groans, facing away from the windows and trying to get the lay of where he is. He's next to a king-size bed, and can see out into a living room.

He's not alone.

He sits up and looks back onto the bed. Oh... very not alone.

Argo put on just a little bit of his smolder. He knelt as well, though perhaps not quite so easily as Vincent or Dolemeck. He had his pride as a god of Olympus still.

"Your Majesty," he began. "I thousand pardons for any offense I may have cause."

"Your remorse for any misdeeds is already apparent, young gentlemen." The Queen replies, maybe smiling just a bit. "And your valor in stopping the creature is apparent. You should be commended. Captain, order your men to stand down."

There's some hesitation, but the guard gives the boys some space.

"As Queen Consort of the Netherlands, I award each of you the Honorary Medal for Charitable Assistance, the exact level of which will be determined before the actual presentation." She tilts her head forward, raising her eyebrows just a little. "Although in the future, any further acts of heroism will be somewhat more... genteel, I assume?"

"Thank you, your Majesty." Dolemeck was very soft spoken around the Queen. he remained kneeling and looking at the ground. He appeared quite disciplined about royalty and politics of any sort. He said nothing more and just awaited further orders. Somewhere, you could assume someone would be yelling "teacher's pet" , right about now.
