Attack of the Evil Grandfathers: Salvo
The Baxter Building's security was on high alert. Just as it should be. All the more cameras to watch the people line up and start beating against the glass. Pressed close as a riot. Pounding on the doors until their hands bruised, blistered, and bled..

Zeb didn't stand with them, of course. He was out of sight... but near enough that the pheremones wouldn't wear off easy. Not for a long, long time. He'd had this crowd primed.

	Aleron walked briskly to the empty elevator shaft and rose to the roof. "What is it?" He asked as he ran to the edge of the roof and stepped off, altering his gravity to careful lower himself down to see the rioting people better. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Franklin was already there, and he didn't waste time trying to make sense of things before acting. These people were not in control of themselves, and they were being injured. He used his telekinesis to hold the crowd back and keep them from hurting themselves anymore. Let's hurry up. Situation's not good. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	True, there is the need to follow instructions. But it's been proven before that such commands can be overcome with enough force of will; see Doctor Doom and Daredevil. Franklin faltered for a moment, but stayed strong enough to keep up what he was doing. "Andrea," Franklin said. "Pretty sure I have an idea who this is. You thinking what I'm thinking?" 	Still floating above the chaos, Aleron feels odd. He doesn't want to actually do what the voice says but...he finds himself doing it anyway. Slowly, the people floating in the air begin descending until they reach the ground where they're put down gently. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Fortunately, though she did incorporate certain organic and wetware elements into her structure, Andrea's largely nonbiological nature meant that she was immune to such tactics.

"I can name several individuals capable of this type of behavior," she said, "though the mixing of men and women discounts the Mandrill and the Puppet Master is retired. I would surmise then, that we may be dealing with the Purple Man."

	Those put down in the faltering against pheremones immediately start to become a problem again, but the voice on the other end of the system sounds ...bored. Which meant there was nothing keeping Franklin from just putting these civilians to sleep so they couldn't be used. They couldn't do damage to anything or anyone that way. He swept through the minds of each civilian causing a ruckus with his telepathy, and simply put them to sleep.

"Team, I'm going to skip this conversation. I don't know how long I can fight off his suggestions as long I stay nearby him. Once I clear a good distance, I'll try and locate him."

With that said, Franklin flew off to make sure Zebadiah could not control him with suggestions.

"How polite of you, Andrea, covering for Potential Deus Ex Machina Boy's scene change and keeping me talking so I don't try to wrangle anything out of any other supporting characters. And you're even prettier than the pictures. Don't know if that's total fanservice, or just laziness on the writers' part; the jock boyfriend's a hard call to, trying to put some sort of desperate twist on 'we don't know what to do with the robot, so let's give her a relationship' thing, perhaps. Anyway, like I said, Andrea, we're only in the rising action here. I don't get the big climactic fight scene on this one. I just leave you with, apparently, a street full of unconscious people." And Zeb will begin sneaking out the back of where he's hiding.
