Kal loved doing laundry. It was so...mundane. When one would live forever and was a whole different race, doing simple things like laundry made her feel more human. She could have done it at the apartment she shared with Jack, or even at the Avengers mansion, but she liked being around normal people as much as possible.
She dumped her whites in one washer and her colors in another.
