"It was very rough. But Mother and Father have been very good to me, though Uncle Ken says they coddle me too much." Dolemeck continue to force that smile on his face. "They have shown me the love a family can provide. It is such a wonderful thing. It is why I call Derek my "brother". I think of him as a very close family member to me!"
Dolemeck felt uncomfortable, but was happy to speak about how much he loved his adoptive family. They were all he had on Earth, after-all. He nervously rubbed at his eye, which was still a bit bruised from the bullying he endured on the "Great Lawn" a few days earlier. If it had not been for Derek, it could have been worse.
"They have bought me my own apartment in Manhattan, and I have all the books I could ever want. Mother and Father wish me to try and discover myself and what I wish to do with my life. So far, I have not found anything."
