Dolemeck was still getting used to the customs of mortals and humans. Handshaking to him was odd, hugs where something he would flail about from, and personal space was... something he never had as a demon in Limbo (along with privacy). Because of this, he did not come through the front door of Mac's apartment. He just shadow ported by a bookshelf and started to read what books Mac had.

He had to be reminded time and time again to use front doors to people's homes, and not just libraries or stores. Dolemeck also had to be reminded not to spoil the endings of books. For not all beings read as much as he did... or as quickly.

"Oh! You have a copy of "Great Expectations"! Such a sad and wonderful book! I certainly enjoyed when Pip..."
