Buck nods to Sammy as well. He's sure she has to be taking this rough. He knows the reasoning behind being given the lead - because one of Sammy's best friends is one of the ones missing. Thus, per SHIELD regs, they don't want someone with strong personal ties to a hostage making all the decisions. Even so, he knows she's capable, and that this should be her op under any reasonable circumstance.
He doesn't justify it or apologize. The best thing he can do, he's pretty sure, is just treat it professionally, and let things settle on their own. That, and focus on business.
"I'm still doing the review. They didn't tell me much over coms, til they could hand the paperwork to me. I'll run the brief on the plane, when everyone is geared up and settled in."
