The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

A human female and giant dark elf. "Do they think just making you bigger is going to do anything? Your size and dark elf magic will both be of no use to you here!" When Kael was getting close, he slashed his sword diagonally, letting the trail of flames it left cloud the opponent's vision, then easily transitioned into a cross cut to hit anyone going through the flames he'd just made.

Kael doesn't point out Hrinmeer's faulty assumptions. Knowledge, or lack thereof, can be power depending on the person. The flames would have blinded a full-blooded elf, but it gave Kael enough time to shield his eyes. Kael brought his swords up to block the Flame's blade. Kael knew Hrinmeer was strong, but not THAT strong. The blow sends Kael back, despite blocking the blow. His swords even steamed a little from where the swords had been struck. Okay, strength against strength wouldn't work here. Instead Kael went with speed, hoping to distract the Flame and give the mortal who was aiding him a chance to strike.

"This blade felled the so-called great Thor. What do you expect to accomplish?" Before he can charge back, Andrea's blasts hit him. But he was sturdy, and while they distract and sting, the damage done isn't enough to stop him once the assault pauses.

Fine, he couldn't get to the female while she was flying. No matter, the giant dark elf would do. Kael has the edge when it comes to speed, but Hrinmeer is far from a slouch and he charges forward, coming in with a flaming swing. As long as he kept the battle close, it'd limit the attacks the woman could do without fearing to hit her ally.

	Kael moves to temporarily trap the Flame's sword between his own. He knows it would only take one strong swing from Hrinmeer to free his blade, so Kael acts fast. Hoping that his Olympian heritage counts for something, kael lashes out hard with a kick to the Flane's sternum as hard as he could muster. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The kick connects, but between his armour and heritage, Hrinmeer is sturdy. He's knocked back enough that his bald is freed. "An attempt, I'll give you that much." Once again there's a few slashes of the flaming blade, more than before, to force Kael to shield his eyes. That hovering woman needed to be dealt with still. So The Flame charges after his flames at Kael, ducking low to avoid the expected lashing out by his opponent's blade, and moves to tackle Kael, aiming to toss the giant dark elf straight at his ally.

	In regards to skill with the blade, Kael could hold his own with the Flame, but the fire on his enemy's blade made countering difficult. Unfortunately Kael had not expected that tackle, hitting him hard and sending him flying. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kael caught the Flame coming at them as they fell. He twisted in mid-air, landing on his hands, As Hrinmeer closed in, Kael bent and drove both his feet forward with all his strength at the demonic half-elf. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The kick connects, hard, and send The Flame flying back as Andrea's attacks hit him as he's thrown back.

There's a lot of dust and rubble kicked up, it's hard at first to see what's become of Hrinmeer. But soon the distinct flame emanating from his head can be seen through the dust. He's up, more battered than before, but most certainly not down. "Finally you show some fight."

"Look for an opening," Kael whispers to Andrea. "If you have to strike us both, do it." Kael walks toward the Flame, swords at the ready. "I am Kael, son of Alfyse, Prince of Svartalfheim," Kael paused for a moment, but continued in a determined tone. "And the son of Hercules, Prince of Olympus. I do not chooseit as a home, but this land is part of me for better or worse." Kael charges at the Flame at full-speed, launching a barrage of strikes with his blades. "I will not see it fall!"

"Prince of Svartalfheim? A noble enough title. For a notch on my blade!" And Kael's flurry of strikes is met by Hrinmeer's own, part blocking the angered dark elf, and part attacks of his own. Each time their swords clash, the flames from his sword surge forward to try and find an opportunity to burn his opponent. For every block, and every attack, the flames keep coming at Kael, not caring if their master was on the defensive or not. They would not be satisfied until they had a taste of flesh.

	Andrea disliked the idea of having to shoot both of them, but saw little option at the moment. She shifted her weapons configuration, changing to her white nosie blaster. She found her opening and fired. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kael was bleeding, fires lit up on his clothes moving on to his flesh, but he didn't stop. When he felt the Flame was focused enough, he dropped his sword and moved to grab Hrinmeer's arm and hold fast, hoping to keep him still as Andrea's blast headed toward them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Seeing Kael's sword get dropped, The Flame takes this as an opening to let his blade stab towards flesh. He hasn't noticed Andrea and her white noise blaster so when Kael latches on and her blast hits, Hrinmeer shouts out as the white noise causes his concentration to disappear and his ears to ring wildly. Kael's armor provided some protection from the Flame's strike, but the blade still cut. Kael gritted his teeth as Andrea's blast reverberated. He couldn't hear a damn thing, but the Flame was in the same boat. While wounded, Kael knew he couldn't afford to squander the opportunity. Taking advantage of his disorientation, Kael unleashed a barrage of punches at the Flame, hitting him with all the -god-given strength he could muster.

From his position, The Flame can't defend well, and Andrea's attack brings him down and leaves him open the Kael's attacks. Ears still ringing, he makes a last minute desperate attempt to lash out with a wild but powerful swing of the flaming sword to cut off Andrea's hand. He makes a half-effective attempt at shielding himself from the onslaught of fists by the elf, but while on the ground it does little.

	With a shower of sparks and a scream from her, the blow cleaves through Andrea's wrist, severing her hand from her body. She retracts the rest of her limb, self-sealing circuits activating to protect the remainder of the arm. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Hrinmeer manages to roll out of the way but the blow catches his shoulder and damages the armour there. He can't quite get up yet, but his sword hand is still good and the next flaming swing comes around to aim towards the inside of the closest knee he can get at while down.
