The Battle of Olympus
The trail eventually led the Avengers, Future Foundation and the Defenders to the other dimensional realm that served as the home of the Greek gods. They traveled to a few realms that were home to other gods only to find them destroyed and in ruins. Olympus wasn't in ruins, but it was under attack. Battle raged all around and the skies thundered and were lit up by lightning bolts.

The Greeks were sometimes allies, sometimes enemies of Olympus, but whatever they were right now didn't matter. The gods themselves were threatened and Svalin knew that if they did not stop whomever was responsible here in Olympus, Asgard would eventually come under attack. It was their job to end this now.

"Defenders! We assist Olympus and end this now," she said. "For Asgard and Olympus!" she yelled and charged into the battle.

	This isn't going well at all. Tezcatlipoca could add quite a bit to this fight to help his allies, being one of the most potent in his pantheon. However, that's not in his nature. Instead, he lets them take the brunt and starts looking for a good opportunity and way out of there to scheme again another day. (Reply to this)(Thread)

Franklin had a strong aversion to the Gods associated more with death and the realms of Hell. You could more or less point them out based on appearance or prior knowledge of them. Tezcatlipoca was a more appealing opponent to him, ironically. And so Franklin approached the deity that lingered in the background, quite clearly possessing a more level head than his allies.

Olympus. Why did it have to be Olympus? Of all the godly realms..Kael would have to suppress any urge to lash out at the inhabitants. He doubted any of them would recognize his connection to them. He needed to keep this from his mind and focus on the enemy.

Kael knew of the Flame and the power he possessed. Part of him was uneasy on facing such an individual, another part of him relished the chance to face a foe who had nearly bested Thor himself. Kael drew his swords. Half-elf vs Half-elf? The irony wasn't lost on him. Kael charged at Hrinmeer.

Emily wasn't exactly looking to pick a direct fight without a heavy hitter to take point. This wasn't the type of battle she was suited for; you know, with god-like beings. She could only hope that God would watch over her in her efforts.

That being said, she hoped that God was watching out for her, should she stumble into an unexpected situation. Though she knew that God could not keep her totally safe with her prayers, so she had a vibranium cutlass for each hand, as well as her tail. Gifts from Aunt Ororo were always thoughtful and extremely helpful.

And just imagine all the ways a channeling like that could be made to go wrong. Calling on Loki had given Vincent enough stealth to make his approach; now for the lie-smith's bride.

"Lady of Obstruction and Unmaking, let us see what harm can be done..." Vincent calls upon Sigyn, to block the flow of the priest's magic as she did the serpent's venom from her husband's eyes. The mystical equivalent of hurling a wrench into the gears of an engine.

	Somehow, in these grand conflicts of gathered heroes, a Rogers somehow finds his way to the forefront. There's plenty of gods and heavier hitters present, but these things just happen. With yet another foe teleporting away, leaving Halbjorn's bloodlust unsated, he scans the field just in time to see the newcomers.

Oh look, how lucky. Someone he hates.

Someone he hates who clearly contains too much blood right now.

With an animalistic howl, Halbjorn charges, trying to crash into the Celt before he can get to Aridis. Both to protect his sister, and help Manawydan with that too-much-blood problem.

	After having helped out Kal, Nicolai went off to assess the battle like Buck had asked. It was during this he felt something trying to manipulate his mind and emotions which he did not like.
