Aleks has been hard at work with a lot of the preparation, wanting everything to be perfect. He knows Lena wants to help - so he's made sure to stock up on things for a salad (with garlic croutons), and asked her to bring the wine or whatever she'd like.

On the main menu is pizza. Specifically, he's worked on cooking crushed garlic into the homemade crust, and building a garlic and oil sauce - for the garlic, chicken, garlic, bacon and garlic pizza. As the time of arrival approaches, he's working on the dough, with everything else laid out neatly for when its ready.

	"Indeed you must. Garlic doesn't hold the ingredients together nearly so well. And... a package is not doing it justice. We have a mixture here of packaged, grated, fresh chopped cloves... even in one oft-repeated ingredient, I went for a variety of textures and styles for contrast. "Glad to hear it went alright in the end and that you're recuperating." That pushing craziness bit had her worried but unlike most, she was actually in a position to see and do the tests to make sure he was doing better. "Well...chaotic to say the least. That mutant mayhem bit in New York? No sleep and a swamped with work lab. We could barely keep up. Of course when it died down for most people we were just getting started. New samples and info to work with and going through and redoing most of the files for a next time. There's still a backlog, I think this is one of the few nights off I've had in a while."

"That's a shame... will have to find you some more down time. As for recuperating... that's rarely a problem. Far as I can tell, the injuries didn't last long. The rad levels have just been yo-yoing. I wouldn't be here away from the labs if your peers hadn't cleared it though. Just have to report back in for more first thing in the morning. Missed a lot of the details of the mutant chaos amidst the missile stuff... hopefully the documenting and testing won't take you too much longer?"

"Glad to hear, sorry I haven't been able to do your tests myself lately. You never know what will happen around here. As for the backlog...well I don't think it'll be done soon, there are details I'd like to go over given the chance, but I think with the extra lab assistants Fury got lended to me at least the workload should get more reasonable soon. I can't complain to be honest, as much work as this is we're getting a lot of new stuff to work with and it's just been like one giant christmas present. I've got so many projects I want to start on it's going to be hard to decide what to pick first."

"You've got nothing to apologize for. Much as I love our conversations and all while I'm all strapped down and hooked up to all the machines, its still mostly routine testing. At least til something goes wrong. You're one of the best brains they've got. Sounds exciting though, anything you want to gloat over? Because I'm good at listening to the mad scientist rants."
