Fortune Favors the Bold
Night was settling over the city and in S.H.I.E.L.D. Central the night shift was just coming on duty and settling in for the night. It looked like it was going to be a rather quiet night. Just like last night, the one before that, the one before that and so on.

Emily let out a 'whuff' of pain as the elbow caught her in the gut, but she kept her hold, staggering back across the room and bringing Gemini with her. He could copycat her powers, sure, but he'd been Hulk sized for all of a few minutes. She'd been changing size and strength her whole life.

Counting on some limitations of coordination she stepped back, foot turned, and spun her body, grabbing on tight and swinging Gemini into the nearest wall like she were trying to take our some dry wall with a mallet. Then she stomped around him while he was still stunned, grabbed him by the legs, and did it again.

Daniel looked around then pulled in his magic and forced it down. He sent out a shock wave of magical energy that should zap any of the Zodiac guys who had their feet on the ground. He was going to feet pain on his own because he wasn't letting it hit his allies. That was how that particular spell worked.

It had been risky and he felt his hands get scorched.

"...Guh," he mutters painfully.

With Emmy at least stalemating Gemini, it lets Iason assess the situation tactically. The problem at the moment is having two invulnerable opponents tying up their hitters, and some extra artillery.

Waiting until it looks like Cancer is lining up a new shot, he charges up his fists again, and flies at him low, trying to build up enough speed for a decent collision.

Gemini was smashed into the wall and a grunt came from him. He struggled to get out of the grip of the big green girl.

Taurus saw the giant hand coming and punched it right in the middle of the palm.

Cancer picked himself up and charged through the Cancer shaped hole. He stepped through the hole to run right into a man with glowing hands. Again, he went flying backwards.

	That ought to slow down the battlesuit. Taking a look at the other two battles, Iason elects to help Steve out, firing a heat beam at the feet of Taurus. It likely won't hurt him, but that's ok, Iason is trying to liquefy the floor under him and trap Taurus in place so Steve can take better advantage of his greater reach. 	Seeing as Gemini, from what he can tell, has exactly Emily's own powers, and Steve seems to have figured out a way around Taurus, he works on helping out one more time, aiming a two fisted concussive blast at Gemini to try and keep him dazed and set up Emily for a knockout punch. 	Jesus Christ. Daniel looks around then focuses on Cancer. Iason could use a hand. So Daniel starts to cast again. His hands hurt but they weave a spell and what could be described as a magic missile goes flying at Cancer. Bolts of green and purple arcane energy arch around and strike the armor. 	Gemini went through a wall. He was starting to stand up when the concussive blast hit. He fell backward. Taurus' shield failed and the giant fist connected. He fell to the floor unconscious. Cancer was about to charge when the missiles hit him. His armor did nothing to protect him against a magical attack. His armor shorted out and he stood there unable to move. "Very nice job, and nice teamwork." he was genuinely impressed, all previous fights had mostly devolved into one on one battles. But this time, faced with opponents of at least their own caliber, they'd held together nicely.

"Now that our cover is blown, and you have disoriented and possibly wounded unpowered people to get out of here, I'm going to cause a diversion so you have a chance to get people out of here. Emily, want to come with me?" he asks, switching back to heat beams to cut an Emmy-sized hole in the ceiling so they can easily ascend to the next floor to draw people off of the other Avengers.

	James ran and locked the cell doors. "Let's get upstairs and check on our teammates. If we can, find Fury and get him, and get someone who hasn't been brainwashed in charge," James said.
