Discussion on Life, Love, and 'you just had to be there...'
Lunch had been something, all right. Misha was glad Anya hadn't been there to see it, but he knew he wouldn't get away with not telling her about it. All their lives they'd joked about That Murdock Guy. It wasn't so funny now.

He managed to get back to his place before his phone started ringing. Thank God the ringtone wasn't 'It's Raining Men' this time. There was probably GPS locator in it so Brat would know where he was likely to be alone and she could get the scoop on things.

"Hey, how did your finals go?"

She smiled. "I figured as much, which is why James and I put her together for you. We figured you'd appreciate that more than anything we could buy. And for the record, he wanted to give the bike an AI. Not me."

"You are a bad influence on that boy." He shook his finger at her. "Isn't he next in line for an AI girlfriend?"

"I love the bike, of course. And I get to tell anybody who asks that it was a family project."

"No. An AI girlfriend would be perfect for him, which is why he's not getting one. He needs to get out and meet real girls."

"Good." Not that she thought he'd hate it. "I better get going. Things to do, people to see and places to go." She stood up and leaned over the counter to kiss his cheek. "Take care of yourself, Dork. Have fun tonight."
