Lunch had been something, all right. Misha was glad Anya hadn't been there to see it, but he knew he wouldn't get away with not telling her about it. All their lives they'd joked about That Murdock Guy. It wasn't so funny now.

He managed to get back to his place before his phone started ringing. Thank God the ringtone wasn't 'It's Raining Men' this time. There was probably GPS locator in it so Brat would know where he was likely to be alone and she could get the scoop on things.

"Hey, how did your finals go?"

"Our first game of the season, it would be great if everybody was there." And their team sponsor! Despite Mom assuring him that they could get sponsorship because Stark was his stepfather, Misha hadn't expected it when he wrote the letter and had all the guys sign it. Three days after it was mailed, he had a special delivery letter accepting his proposal and instructions to send the shirt size and names of the players so they could have new jerseys for the their games.

It had done a lot for their team moral. He always tried to make it fun for them, but there was something to be said in having that little bit of oomph behind them. They weren't the best team in the city, but they were going to look it.

"Why do you think Darlene's so bitchy lately? She gets driven on the weekends when I leave the city, but the bike gets used during the week. Hoping to find a spare week this summer to take a road trip."

Lunch things were put away, the dishes rinsed and loaded into the dishwasher, and the counter wiped. "You be careful out there. You're not leaving me alone with all these alternate siblings."
