It was a day full of meetings and scheduled phone calls. As always. Anya looked at the clock and had twenty minutes before her next meeting. Just enough time to head down to the cafeteria and grab something to eat. She was starving and needed some caffeine. She had too much blood in her caffeine stream. She hated it when that happened.

She stood up and left the office heading for the cafeteria.

	Anya blinked. One second she was trying to get Manny off of her and the next she was sitting on the floor without a helmet on and her suit wasn't working. She glared at each of them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Bea looks up at the others. Kelly was probably assuming Manny would go ahead and handle rendering Anya unconscious. Manny was clearly not comfortable with this at this point. The Kids should obviously not handle it. Kelly, once she noticed Manny wasn't doing it, could easily do the carotid artery thing or a dozen other ways at various levels of risk to long-term health, but...

Bea pulled a box out from under her bed, unlatched it, removed a sealed packet, and dragged herself over before tearing it open and pressing a cloth over Anya's mouth.
She managed a weak smile. "It's a healthier formula than choloroform," she explained to the boys, as if that were saying something.

	Martin shrugged, not really knowing much about chemicals. Though this situation had him think that maybe he should learn that sleep spell he'd seen in his spell book. "Okay, that's priority one. Next we start scouring around to see possible sources. There's the assistant, the boyfriend in the Dad, in that order. Don't want Adrienne doing that; want to at least feel them out a little, considering Anya." And Adrienne has proven she can't be trusted to have a clue what sort of people she's dealing with at any point. "Excuse a stupid question, Kelly. Or, you know, delight in it, whatever. Will the phone get a signal in here if Adrienne got it away fast enough before?"

"Of course she has clothes on underneath. What fun would it be searching for contraband if there was only one layer? Even if that layer requires screwdrivers and a power wrench? Anyway... yeah, she'll be fine if she got out of range. Otherwise, it'll be fried. Phones don't have very good shielding. Speaking of which, when she comes to her senses, Anya will have to get everyone new phones, and probably do a little re-wiring. But mostly ok."
