Martin glances at Bea then back at Mr. Stark. No knee wound aside, mind-reading said this Mr. Stark was a different one than the one that had been there a moment ago. But he wouldn't say for sure if it was the real Mr. Stark or a fake one.
This is a different one. They switched.
Which Bea probably knew already but no harm in confirming. But the switch bothered him because there had been a definite fluctuation in something magic about, which had disappeared completely after the switch but...it wasn't something he could explain. All he knew was that magic, not a person's, an object of some sort he'd guess since the feeling was different, was involved somehow. And unexplained magic changes were definitely worrying.
