Andrew takes the drop off, and powers up enough to not be totally vulnerable. After that, he goes in search of two things.
One... media attention. He wants to make sure someone filming the 'chaos' gets this on film, even from a distance - so he does a little helping out and makes no efforts at stealth.
And then he goes hunting 'Magneto', doing his best to circumvent anyone else.
