Buck makes his way into the facility, using the Avengers' distraction to sneak past security and directly here. There's a moment of hesitation, really seeing someone who looks a lot like his father there.
That causes a moment of reflection - his father would doubtless confront whoever it is, offer a chance to deal with this peacefully.
Yep, that's what his dad would do.
Buck lines up a stunner and opens fire.
