Getting lost, getting found, getting born again each day...
As a reward for being a good little mutant and submitting to Xavier's psychic help and Dad's daily work outs, Misha was allowed to mingle with the student body. No sparring, no teaching, no weapons training, but by God he could now talk to them without the fear of hurting somebody. They still couldn't tell him what would trigger an attack other than the obvious Romanov one, but since Mom wasn't around and as far as he knew Anya, James and Eliza were still in SHIELD custody, that didn't appear to be a problem.

It was a nice afternoon, so he pulled Dad's jeep out of the garage to wash it. Darlene was still in his parking spot in the city and from the messages left on his phone, not happy she wasn't getting more air time.

"I wouldn't know, I usually grind my own coffee. The store brands never seem very good. And I avoid shopping in general when I can."

He nods once. "I'm sure they'll be fine. How are you holding up?"

"Shopping is one of those necessary evils, and pretty girls behind the counter pouring the coffee make it drinkable if you can get them to smile while they're serving it." Oh no, he's not much of a flirt.

"I wouldn't know how I am. Still waiting for the professor to tell me and Dad to confirm. I probably haven't seen Moira around because Dad must've warned all the redheads off."

Misha held up both hands. "She's like a little sister, honest. Dad and the professor aren't sure if I was programmed to take out just my mother and sister, or if redheads are the trigger. But I guess I wouldn't be allowed out here if they thought Moira and any of the others would be in danger."

He snorted a bit. "That, or they're confident that any redhead on the premises can kick my ass up and down the drive."

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure my girlfriend can kick my ass, anyway. And I was kidding, its ok. For what its worth though, helping with nightmares and things in the subconscious is what I do. If I can help on that end, let me know, and I'll speak to the Professor."

His grin disappears, and he nods seriously. "I can make sure you sleep peacefully, without nightmares. Not forever, but enough to let you catch up. You'd recover faster if you got some good sleep."

He nods. "Just let me know, and I'll ask the Professor about it. I can try and help David too, if he'd like. I haven't seen him to ask though. Either way, you shouldn't even notice I'm there. But I wanted to ask, since some people would prefer not having someone else see what they dream about."

"I can't control my dreams." He shrugged and worked on clearing the headlights of bug guts. "My problem is that my head's been messed with a lot in the last year and I'm not anxious for more."

I don't control dreams exactly, just interact with them in a way I can kind of direct activity, settle the mind, heal damage to the subconscious... wounds and damage there, for me, is sort of like a cut... I can see it. Fixing it is slow, but I can help you rest easily, and start repairing the damage. While I could mess with people, I suppose, its not my way. I'm a healer, after all."

He nods. "I'm not that dangerous... well, unless I come across someone when they're sleeping, I guess. You guys do the ass kicking, I just patch people up. Xavier is a much better psychic than I am... I'm just probably more suited to healing the subconscious mind, since my powers are a lot more focused that way."
