Practice (Open)
There was no such thing as too much practice in Svalin's mind which is exactly why she made it a point to practice as much as she could. Today she was working a difficult session in the practice room. The room was filled with trolls. They swarmed Svalin and it was all she could do to keep them back.

She yelled and took the head off of one, not pausing before moving on to the next.

	While letting Solver fly circles around him and giving the boy silent signs of 'nice flying', Brandr stays quiet on the side, taking in the exchange. The longer he stayed the more he learnt about the dynamics, and Lady Vernique certainly had a lot of sway in this household. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Vernique steps right over and grabs Svalin's hand. "Thanks, hon. Not trying to dither, just..." She didn't want to see Svalin bury herself the way she had when she'd first lost her arm, for one thing.

She didn't want to see it happen to Kael, either, and flashed him the best smile she could manage. "I get that, I do; just... be careful, please," she says quietly.

Solver, on the other hand, is mostly still flitting about and quietly relating to Brandr's knowing of good flying when he sees it.

	Svalin nodded. "I wilt. I giveth thou mine word." Svalin looked and smiled at her son. Of course when he realized he had Mommyone's attention he dived bombed her and went flying into her for a hug. 	"Very well," Kael replied. The sudden attention on Solver made Kael feel somewhat awkward. He was not accustomed to children and families, save his mother..whom he missed terribly. Vernique would throw quite a fit about the 'pants' saying. She is worth listening to, certainly, but she is the chick in this marriage, and you'd better believe it!

"Hold on a second, sweetie!" she tells Solver as he ill-timedly sacks poor Svalin, and she turns to follow after Kael slightly. "...Look, I know this is a stupid question for me of all people to be asking, lately, but... are you sure you're going to be okay?"
