	Kal sighed. "I'm one of them," she said. "I grew up as one of them, not an Eternal. I'm still trying to learn what it means to be an Eternal. He nods. "I know. And I realize that I haven't been part of the mortal world long, on either side. I've seen dozens of cultures, but always as an observer... an Eternal. My dad is passionate about humanity, he loves them, and the Eternals have modeled themselves in a lot of ways after another age of humanity. There is admiration there. But this is an opportunity to learn what being an Eternal is like. And sooner or later, you're going to need to. A lot of those stories from a long time ago that you talk about... with my dad, a lot of them are about how hard it was to lose his first wife... and second... and so on. And that was with the distance he has."

	He reaches his destination point, and they hit warp, bright light surrounding the pair, though the only real change from before is the brief moment of acceleration. He considers a few moments before responding.
"Same reason your mother stays on Earth, I'd suppose. Same reason the Eternals patterned themselves after humans, read their books, listen to their music. This will always be here, so long as I am. But on Earth there's so much to do and experience. They surf, they cook, they dance, and no two days are the same. I enjoy flying, I love seeing new places, but its for the sake of the places."
