All the technology in this building and the elevator breaks down (Bendytimed before Evil!Reed stuff)
While normally he took the empty elevator shaft left over from the original F4 and human torch days to move between floors, Aleron did occasionally take the elevator. Mostly out of interest more than anything. It was more efficient just to step into the empty shaft and adjust his gravity to send him to the appropriate floor but...he kind of liked trying the more normal stuff.

So he waits in front of the elevator doors for it to come.

"How is that going? It sounds difficult." Aleron happily goes to push the appropriate buttons to bring them down, why he took joy in such a simple thing he wasn't sure but he kind of liked elevators. It was almost like using his powers without actually doing so.

"Doing well. I usually use that empty shaft they set up for your uncle in his flame form. It's quite useful you know."

	The whole elevator briefly seems to bounce lightly as if it's trying to figure out if it should go up or down. "I can move it but it might do something to whatever is holding it and..." Well he can't keep up gravity effects forever so...safer not to do too much. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	He hovers up to the ceiling to check the loose bits she's talking about. "I hope we can move them..." Reaching up he grabs onto them and then lets his feet walk up the side of the elevator to give him something stable to support him a bit. "The floating part is the easy part." It takes a bit more effort than expected to slide the panels aside, it clearly hadn't been done in a while, but eventually he gets it done and carefully floats out of the elevator. "There does not seem to be anything attacking at least."

He looks down back into the elevator and offers Valeria his hand while lessening the effect of gravity on her so she can float up to reach it.

He gently pulled her up, not needing much effort since he was making her weigh very little, and lets her down on the top of the elevator so he can get the chance to look up to where she's talking about.

"I can." There's a pause as he holds out his hands. "It'd be easier to control our direction if I held onto you," he explains. Actually it'd be easier if he held onto her waist or something but there were manners and etiquette to consider.

	With both her hands in his they begin floating at a steady pace up to the door. By himself he'd do it faster and less carefully but that wasn't the situation here. "Yes, I had thought this building was supposed to have the best technology," he chuckles lightly. It had said so in the brochure too! Cutting-edge stuff upstairs and the elevators could break down.
