They returned to Migard and Svalin and Vernique got Brandr settled into a room. When he had his things all put away, they started the grand tour of the grounds. First stop was the main house. Hopefully some of the Defenders were around to meet him.

He glances to Svalin for confirmation this was indeed not an enemy. But still, it did well to be prepared. He'd never met a dark elf like this.

"I wouldst not do thee the disrespect of drawing mine blade Prince Kael." His hand moves from the hilt and instead he rests his elbow casually on the pommel, using it almost as an arm rest, and shows his hands in an 'I'm unarmed' sign. "I art here to fulfill mine duty of protecting young lord Solver and the Lady Vernique. It simply does well to be cautious in the face of the unexpected. Whether they may appear unarmed or not." He would ask about this dark elf later, no reason to draw his blade when both miladies were unthreatened.

	A Marlow popped in to see what the fuss was about. Her illusion gazed at them curiously and with some disappointment. Why did only Asgardians ever showed up? And they never went anywhere else. Well, at least there would be more fangirls to practice on. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She hadn't quite gotten the illusions to talk yet, so Marlow transported herself in to say hello in person. The illusion faded as soon as she appeared. "Hi, Vernique." 	Brandr notices the brief exchange between the women but looks away and says nothing about it. It wasn't his to pry. Instead he moves on and changes the subject. "Does the 'chocolate' always look like it was on Lady Iona's...pop corn?" Surely this couldn't be the delicacy Hjordis was recommending. Or at least there must be a more appetizing version. Brandr takes on and examines it curiously. It didn't look too appetizing but then again, he didn't know much about this sort of Midgard food. So he pops the truffle into his mouth for a taste.

It was...quite good. And far different from what he expected. He takes another truffle. Hjordis had been right, this was a Midgard delicacy.

Just to be sure this wasn't a one-time effect. He had to check.

"I like this...chocolate. It shouldst be made in Asgard."

	"It makes a really good present for birthdays and holidays too." Marlow thought it would be good information for him if he lasted long enough to be here for Christmas.
