"What?" Emily murmurs, then nods squaring her shoulders a bit. "I... yes. S.H.I.E.L.D. exists where I'm from. It backs the Avengers. I don't think there was even brainwashing involved though."
"Is something being done to stop it?"
She can't help but inquire. Even though she's been away from her own team for nearly 18 months overseas she's still part of the reserves and wanting to know what's going on and what she can do is ingrained by now.
