Okay, there no sense putting this off anymore. He was going to be getting in on late admission anyway, if he went for it. Jordan had already convinced him it was the right thing to do, and he wanted to do it.

It was just going to be really hard.

This is going to be good. He's going to be learning from some of the best minds in the field, have a whole new suite of options for ways to exercise his powers, and he'll be broadening his horizons in a new locale.

It's California. What's the worst that could happen?
