Out on the town
David is out on the town. He had no after noon classes and wanted burgers and chili cheese fries. What more could a guy want?

Oh yeah also there was this new waitress who is just really cute. He thinks she's his age so he has been very shyly flirting with her every time he comes here. Honestly he thinks he's terrible with women but he can make her laugh and smile so that's good enough for him.

Now he is on his way back to his car. He is well fed and feeling pretty good. He tosses and catches his car keys in his hand the air changes just a bit though.

He can smell something on the wind. His good mood is shattered and he frowns just a bit. Something is up.

"Funny you mention that," the man said taking step closer. "Humanity's fear of the so-called 'mutant curse' lead me to join these people. Humanity, mutants, so obsessed with their so-called gene war that all else falls by the wayside." He steps fully into the light. Immediately noticeable will be the distinctly foreign patch of skin grafted to his right eye. "Forgive me, I seem to have fallen into monologuing."

A slight grin and a shrug. "What you think I am is irrelevant. What is important is that your family's unique mutation could be an incredible boon to my work." He removes the proper equipment from his coat, a dark, clawed hand in place of a human one held the metal utensil. "You're helping to end a pointless conflict. I doubt you'll appreciate it now, but perhaps some day."

David's face darkens a great deal. He is usually the nicest of the Logan children. The most calm and hardest to anger. Right now his thoughts involve this man's blood all over the walls.

"Guy. This isn't how a real scientist would do things. You're as ethical as...." He can't express how unethical this is he is so pissed. "You know what? I spit in your eye."

And he tries to!
