Dogs? Okay he'd expected something a little more threatening.
Vlad lets them leap at him and tries to get them to latch onto his arms and legs. The more that were on him meant less attacking the others. As their teeth rip away more of his skin to reveal the metal layer underneath, he starts flinging, kicking, and smashing any of them latched onto him into walls.
