"Hey! That's really cool." Summer stopped to examine the sand sculpture. She poked one end of a root experimentally. Gently, though. She didn't want to ruin it. "Impressive."
She straightened up and brushed the sand off her hands in time to see the man with the hedge clippers waving. Even though he wasn't waving at her, she still gave a polite one back.
