Her situation with her siblings reestablished, Asleif had other aspects of her life when she needed to touch upon. In this particular case, this drew her to New York City, Manhattan specifically. A strange city, so unlike Los Angeles, but similar in its own way. Both had a great rabble of people living there, all flawed and damaged in their own ways.

And also, the so-called "World Famous Baxter Building," though it held not one candle to the glories of the Golden Realm. But Asleif was in a patient mood today, and had allowed the clockwork receptionist to take her name and inform Vincent that she was here. She had been told that popping in unannounced was quite rude, and while she cared little for social conventions... Well, if she was mercurial, so much the better to confound those who sought to define her.

	Vincent was in the middle of making some alchemical reagents when the call came, and his eyes widened. He did his best to clean himself up, taking the time to safely suspend his work, and then told Roberta to send her up. He'll be waiting when the elevator doors open. "Hello, my lady." He smiles. 	"Well of course you would," he chuckles. "I'm fascinating." He leads her over to the couch, seating them both. "Why did you come back? You seemed so certain you needed to be in Asgard when we... well, when you told me we needed to end things." Life had gone on, of course, but he had certainly missed her. 	Vincent's brow furrowed. "Has someone done something to you?" Honestly... I don't feel like an outsider anymore. I regret the loss of my divinity, mixed blood or not, but.." He gestures around. 	Vincent is quiet, then lets out a sigh. Not one of resignation or depression, but simply by some person concluding a string of thoughts. "Then I'm happy to spend time with you, and be intimate with you, if you so desire, but... you don't get the right to denigrate anyone else I choose to spend my time with, or my decision to do so." Asleif gave this thought of her own, mulling it over. It was, she reflected, the best option she was likely to get, and not a bad one at that. Pleasant times to while away, a companion she could be close to... It was good.

And she was not so certain she was capable of love, as others understood it. It was as close as she might yet come.

"I find that agreeable," she said.
