A gunshot in the woods wasn't necessarily a problem, unless it was close enough to be one. There was no target practice allowed around the estate. Too many of their students could get hurt.
Logan headed out to see what was going on and if he had to hurry a lost hunter off the property. Before one of their more interesting students got a hold of him.
