From the kitchen to jail? (Buck)
Anya always looked forward to Saturday and her time with Buck. This weekend instead of going out they were going to stay in, eat dinner and watch a movie or two. Buck also mentioned needing to talk about something. That worried her a bit, but she didn't think it was anything bad. The two of them saw each other once a week and Anya thought things were going well.

The Thunderbolts' chef had the day off and Anya had to opt for takeout. She went and picked it up and brought it back to HQ. She went to take a shower and came back to find the food gone. Someone had walked off with it. Dinner was missing and now Anya had to make something. Scrambled eggs it was. They weren't too complicated and she could manage them, right?

"My dad likes you, whether you believe it or not. Everyone thinks they get those looks."

"I know he does. I remember the rides he used to give me on his shoulders. I do get the looks when my Starkness comes out in full force. I'm used to it."

"Yes, but then I get those looks now and then. Mom gets those looks quite often. And I have it on good authority he still likes both of us."

"I think it's because he had to put up with my dad for so long. He smiles and hugs me when he sees, so I'm not worried."

"Yeah, you have nothing to worry about. I'm not sure what he thinks of me dating a Stark, but I'm sure mom is amused."

"I'm sure it gives him a nightmare or two," Anya said with a grin. "He should be glad it's only dating. It's not like we're married and have kids."

"Can you imagine? Our parents as grandparents... none of the responsibilities, just out to spoil the kids."

"I can't imagine how spoiled those kids would be between your mom and my mom. Not to mention my dad. We could only hope for your dad having some influence over them and keep them in check."

"No, no, that's us. He'd be one of the worst at all with the spoiling. They'd have puppies and days out with Grandpa for ice cream and all all the time."

"So basically if we had kids, we'd be doomed?" Anya asked. He was right. His father, her father and the two mothers would ALL spoil the kids. She and Buck would be hopelessly outgunned.

"Totally and utterly doomed. It would be us against the grandparents, and I just don't see you as the disciplinarian type."

"Oh come on. I can totally be the disciplinarian." A second after the words were out of her mouth she started laughing. There was no way she could say that with a straight face.

He grins. "Of course you can. Ok kids, quiet down, or Mommy is going to cook dinner." he teases. He can't help it, he has to laugh at the absurdity of the situation they're in.

Anya laughed along with it. "Hey, maybe my lack of cooking skills will come in handy besides blowing things up."

"I /can/ cook, but its mostly bachelor cooking. I think you'd get bored of stuff I make pretty fast. We might need a chef, or at least a kids' nanny who can cook."

"I think we have quite some time to think about those. I have the world to take over...I mean change." She grinned. "A company to run. Another to take over. Kick bad guy ass. Torment my brothers."

"It's not a bad thing to talk about a What If. It's fun and it's not like we're going to run off and have a kid now. Besides, don't you ever wonder where you'll be in ten years from now, or even twenty?"

"I get my creativity in. A little bit of artwork, lots of what-if scenarios in training... but I've usually kind of preferred being prepared, then letting the future take care of itself. Never gotten much out of overthinking it."
