Man-Beast had tried putting up another psionic barrier against the onslaught. Red and Eliza's attacks weakened it enough for Azura's attack to destroy it completely. This left him open for Alex's attacks. The blows drove the breath from his lungs. His vision blurred as he tried to stay conscious.
"Not..again," he growled defiantly before falling face-first to the ground.
