"Well people always break speed limits on road trips. It's practically a rule," he points out, hoping it'd count as a loophole.
For his part, Martin enjoys talking shop with Marlow, but he also likes that he is the only magic user on his team. Especially since he knows that any other that might join will be more experienced than he is. This way he feels more valuable. Besides, teleportation meant distances didn't matter. Martin makes a note to visit Marlow more often.
"Cool! How'd you find the vampire clown dimension? I saw a zombie piranha one before." Although maybe he could use Marlow's idea and use it in a defense enchantment one day.
