What's My Purpose? (Open to Genoshans)
Sengai sat in the Genoshan Embassy library. He looked like he was reading, but it would be a misleading conclusion. His mind was on a lot of things, none of which pertained to the book in his hand. What was he really doing here? Was this all really so his father could pay back some old debt? What did he have in common with these people. He did not share their beliefs. He was not Genoshan. He was older than all of them. For a time he had found purpose as Charlotte's bodyguard, until Andrew seemed to fill that role in an unofficial capacity. Now he found himself aimless. What good was he really doing?

"Latveria proposed a mutual defense treaty. I refused, flatly. But, as per the offer made before the UN nations, counter-offered a trade agreement of non-militarizeable resources - both goods and approved services. Given their reputation, though, I insisted that we'd only enter negotiations if Symkaria acted as a third party to the discussions. Still a risk - but I'm trying to keep it entirely transparent. There's still people who won't be happy, and others who would try to sabotage it."

"No, I'm not certain. I don't trust Doom - and this is why we're entering into talks. Its also why I insisted that Symkaria be involved, as they have a better international reputation. But, given how difficult it is convincing anyone else to trade with us right now, I'm hoping demonstrating the benefits of doing so - while being blatantly non-military and transparent about it, might bring others to the table. Even if, at the start, its to counter whatever perceived advantage Latveria might gain. If we had a better offer, or better situation - then things might be different entirely. Likewise, if we go, listen to what they have to say, and anyone in the delegation thinks there's something rotten... we'll hold off. I'd appreciate your counsel."
