Wedding March to a War Drum
Alfveror arrived on Migard just outside the main building of the Defenders' Compound. He was inside the fence and the unexpected arrival tripped the alarms. A loud warning signal filled the air and was deafening to heightened senses.

He stood still and waited.

This... was not the city. In point of fact, she was not entirely sure where this was at all. Infuriating.

Asleif called upon a small amount of magic power, shedding light over her current surroundings. "Who dares to so accost me?"

If she was surprised, she did not allow it to show. Instead, the veneer of contempt with which she seemed to regard most things remained firmly in place.

"Accursed One," she said, flatly. "Where art mine family?"

Asleif looked quietly amused by the notion. "In place of the All-Father, thou wouldst have a Queen! Not dark but beautiful and terrible as the Morn! Treacherous as the Seas! Stronger than the foundations of the Earth!"

Her smile became quite chilling, had anyone else been watching. "All shall love me and despair."
