Happy Birthday Prince Dork! (Open)(Backdated to May 7th)
It was that time of the year again and it was Prince Dork's birthday. Anya would not let it pass without getting him prezzies. Anya loved shopping for Misha. Almost all of her gifts to Prince Dork were humorous, but this year she went with not-so-humorous. She built him a brand new suit and also bought him the shell of a 1964 Corvette

She had the shell delivered to Xavier's and she hand delivered the suit. This was a suitcase model as well.

"Thanks, Mom." He smiled at the forehead kiss. "You remember that far back, huh? So when do I have to start lying about my age so you don't feel like you're getting older?"

"I'm not that old," she said. "Not even old enough to be a grandma," she said with a smile.

He backed up and put both hands up in the air. "Don't worry about grandkids from this end. Totally not going to happen. Tell it to Anya." He took the clothes from her to carry upstairs. It was a given she'd go through his Mom closet. He'd never been able to convince her he didn't need new suits every year. "How's Nick doing? Darlene wants to know when he'll have his own phone so she an call him."

"I'm not worried about grandkids from either of you just yet. He's growing like a weed," she said. "Doesn't sleep and doesn't sit still for more than a minute. He tires me out most days. Nick is not getting a phone for a few more years."

"So we're talking Christmas, right? Come on up, Mom. I cleaned my room and I even got cookies and other goodies for my birthday. I'll share." He grinned at her. "Better than anything your chef puts out."

"Maybe in a few Christmases," she said as she followed him up to his room. "You're probably right. Are there any chocolate ones?"

"Are there chocolate ones? You bet your bracelets there are chocolate ones. They take good care of me here." He ushered her in and went to the closet to hang up the suits. "The box on the dresser. Help yourself."

"I know they do," she said. "I have never worried...much...about you staying here. I've always known you were well taken care of here."

She went to the dresser and opened the box.

"I didn't mean it as criticism. Just saying my friends here take good care of me when birthdays and Christmas come around." He left the closet door open for her to start the annual clean out.

"I know," she said. "I know about all your wives and how they take care of you." Misha would tell her about his weddings and all his wives each time she picked him up.

For right now she enjoyed a cookie or two.

"It's not a one sided friendship, Mom. I'd do anything for them. They're family." He reached for a cookie. "You and Dad taught me about family."

"Mom, I promise you I haven't grown any in four years, and I only wore the tux twice last year. The only people tracking what I wear are guys with way too much fashion sense for one person."

"They're comfortable," he protested, defending his raggedy underwear. It would do no good, but he had to make a pitch for sons everywhere. "New boxers and tee shirts keep disappearing."

"Always thinking ahead, huh?" Misha shook his head. Trust Mom to realize that his at-home clothes ended up on more than just him. "It takes the surprise out of life, but I guess I need to start thinking ahead myself. I'm gettin' old, Mom."

"Sure I'm getting old. I finally realized I'll never be Spider-man. I was actually driving the speed limit the other day. If that's not getting old, I don't know what is."
