They appeared literally out of nowhere. Hadelinde had her team teleport to a location not far from the meteor in the town of Hartley, Texas. Her son, of all people, showed up from the future and had painted a grim scene for her and Hadelinde knew she had to take action.
She assembled her team and brought them here to acquire the one thing that could change the future.
"You know what to do," she told them. "Keep them busy for a little while."
While they were dealing with the Avengers she would grab the rock.
