Four days later....
SHIELD had gotten some disturbing reports from a small town in West Texas. First the FBI had been sent in, but there had been no communication from the agents that had been sent. That's when SHIELD was called and agents sent in.
Like the FBI agents, there had been no word from the agents. Nick wasn't going to waste any more agents. It was time to send some bigger guns in to see what in the Sam Hill was going on.
He called the Avengers.
