"Thanks Manny but it's okay. I like the sour cream and onion ones better." He wants to ask where he'd gone to buy them where they wouldn't mind customers who were...different. It was hard to find those places, and part of the reason he never bought stuff by himself.

"She's been in there a looong time though...you should take her out more often." He's never actually been in the lab so he assumes there's no place to sleep or eat there. It was best to keep the magic out of her lab. "I know someone on the Avengers," he adds.

Buck's knowledge of the majority of pop culture is pretty limited - so having missed out on the UCWF and celebrity world shouldn't be too much of a shock to anyone who knows him.

"I'll keep that in mind. The team and training keeps me pretty busy too... but I'll try and get out this way." He nods in response to Manny's question. "Buck Rogers, yes. Nice to meet you both."

	Martin decides he'll need to ask Manny where he bought stuff, later when they don't have interesting guests. "You are? Cool." Martin knows little about superheroes except for the names of the really big ones. Being secluded for the past three years hasn't helped that much. He's playing catch up. "Do you have the shield?" "Dad is still using the shield. Maybe after he retires, but there's no plans for that." he replies without hesitation or any sign he covets the role. "I don't really wear the flag colors either, but he did train me." he continues.

"And I will definitely pass that along, Manny. I know Dad hasn't kept in touch with a lot of people - but I hope your dad is doing alright. I know he had a tough road for a long time, if I remember the files all right."

	"Businesslike, in a lot of cases. Sure, there's friendships and all, but the Avengers, unlike a lot of the teams, are mostly composed of people who actively want to be super heroes day in, day out - and that's the unifying principle. 	"I don't think we're very businesslike," he admits. "Still, it's cool you're all superheroes." The Avengers probably got to fight demons, he thought. He hoped they would get to too, at least so he could show them that some (he admitted it, some not all. But most he'd argue) demon fighting could be tons of fun. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Buck nods to Manny, "I'm really glad to hear that he's doing so well. I know my dad worries about a lot of the people he's helped. Not everyone does so well with a second chance... but you being here is definitely a good sign. If you're anything like your dad, I'm pretty sure you'll do great working with Anya's group." he responds, before nodding in agreement. "I don't think Anya was looking for anything more businesslike when she moved down here... and I'm not saying its the ideal model for a team or anything else. It works for me, and I've always thought the Avengers were necessary, but it sounds like you're doing good work here."

	Martin smiles in agreement, he did think Manny was a good addition to the team. "I think if this was business-like it wouldn't be allowed to live in your lab for days."
